Privacy Policy
Quizolab ("we", "us") operates quizolab.com. This policy explains what data is collected when you use the site, why, and what choices you have.
1. Information we collect
We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect your name, email address or payment details. The site collects:
- Quiz progress — your score is saved in your own browser using local storage. It never leaves your device and we cannot read it.
- Technical data — our hosting provider and advertising partners automatically receive your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, approximate location (country/city level) and referring URL.
- Campaign parameters — if you arrived from an advertisement, the link may carry identifiers in the URL that tell us which campaign sent you. These are used for traffic measurement and fraud detection only.
2. Cookies and similar technologies
We and our advertising partners use cookies, local storage and similar technologies to remember your quiz progress, measure traffic, detect automated/fraudulent visits, and select advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the quiz will still work, but your saved score will be lost.
3. Advertising
This site is supported by advertising. We work with third-party advertising networks, including Monetag. These partners may set cookies and use device identifiers to show ads that are relevant to you and to measure ad performance. We do not sell your personal information.
You can review Monetag's own privacy practices at monetag.com/privacy-policy.
4. Push notifications
You may be asked whether you want to receive browser push notifications, delivered through our partner ProPush. This is entirely optional:
- Notifications are only sent if you explicitly select "Allow" in your browser's prompt. Selecting "Block" stops the request and nothing further happens.
- If you subscribe, you may receive promotional messages from our advertising partners.
- You can unsubscribe at any time from your browser's site settings — in most browsers: Settings → Privacy and security → Site settings → Notifications — and remove quizolab.com from the allowed list.
5. Legal basis and your rights
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for advertising cookies and push notifications, and on legitimate interest for security, fraud prevention and basic traffic measurement. You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data we hold, to withdraw consent at any time, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information.
6. Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Data retention and security
We do not operate a user database. Quiz scores stay in your browser. Server logs held by our hosting provider are retained only for as long as needed for security and abuse prevention. The site is served over HTTPS.
8. Third-party links
Advertisements and shared links may take you to websites we do not control. This policy does not cover those sites, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version.
10. Contact
